I compare the options.
I check offers across booking providers for a competitive price, useful perks and clear terms.

A bookable link, by email.
Review your offer and book securely through the link. Only if it works for you.
The price you see online isn’t the only offer.
Hotels also sell through travel advisors, where the same stay can come with a different rate—or breakfast, hotel credit and other extras. I compare those offers with public prices to find where you come out ahead.
Sometimes you pay less. Sometimes you get more for the same price. No booking fee. No added markup

A NOTE FROM LEO
China is personal.
I’m Leo, born and raised in China. It’s home to me, and I want you to feel welcome there, too.
HotelDuel brings my local knowledge and connections to one important part of your trip: where you stay. Before you book, I’ll look across available hotel offers and compare the price, perks and terms. My aim is simple: help you choose with confidence, with a real person you can turn to along the way.
Tell me before I compare. A lower room price is not a better deal if it costs you benefits you value.
What you have
What we check
Marriott Bonvoy or Hilton Honors
Whether this exact rate and booking channel earn points, qualifying nights and your status benefits. Membership alone does not make every rate eligible.
Amex Fine Hotels + Resorts
Your full Amex offer, including applicable card credits and benefits. Don’t assume those transfer to a different booking channel.
An award stay using points
Compare your points option with the cash quote. I won’t describe a cash-only offer as a way to redeem your points.
Breakfast or credits from multiple sources
Check whether benefits combine. We won’t count the same breakfast twice or promise that credits stack.
Keep it if a member rate, points redemption, card benefit or package gives you better overall value. And don’t cancel an existing reservation before checking its cancellation cost and confirming a replacement. If I can’t improve the offer, I’ll tell you.
Before we take a look.
What do booking platforms charge hotels?+
Booking platforms take a commission from hotels. European market evidence has cited a 15–20% range for major platforms; the actual fee varies by hotel, market and agreement. It’s worth comparing the full offer—price, perks and terms—before you book.
No booking fee. No added markup. On commission-paying bookings, the hotel or supplier pays Fora after your stay, and Fora shares that commission with me.
What is Fora, and who helps with my booking?+
Fora is the travel agency I’m affiliated with. I help you compare and arrange your stay; your booking confirmation identifies the hotel or supplier and its terms. If something goes wrong, email me at leo.chen@fora.travel. For an urgent issue at check-in, speak to the hotel’s front desk first.
Will your quote always be cheaper?+
No. We may find a lower total or useful extras. If your existing offer is better, I’ll say so. Rates and benefits depend on availability and the exact terms.
Can I use my hotel status or points?+
Have hotel status? I’ll check which benefits apply to your quote. Points redemption and card-specific benefits depend on the program and rate.
Do I have to book or share my card?+
No card is needed to request a quote. You choose whether to book after reviewing the offer. I don’t charge a booking fee or add a markup for this hotel service.
How do booking and payment work?+
Leo reviews your request and emails you a quote. If you choose to book, use the secure Fora booking link and your own accepted payment card. The rate determines whether payment is due now or later. Do not send card details by email or in a screenshot.
Are the comparison prices live, and will I pay in USD?+
The examples are recorded stay totals displayed in USD and rounded down, not live offers. Room details and terms can differ. Your booking link shows the current total, payment schedule, cancellation policy and billing currency. Your bank may apply exchange rates or fees.
What arrives in your inbox.
Your reply comes from leo.chen@fora.travel. Fora quote links use trips.foratravel.com. The hotel or booking supplier handles payment; I never ask you to email card details.
